| Chocolate Anyone? |
| Art comes in all shapes and flavors. |
| The Ancient City |
| The Ancient City has gardens and architecture recreated in one large private park. The hope is to ensure that people will not forget the art of the past and remember their heritage and ancestors. Here are Tricia, Fred and me.
Bangkok, Thailand |

| Lunch anyone? |
| We couldn't figure out what kind of animal this was. All we know is that is will probably be lunch tomorrow. |
| Strangers in the Day |
| People on the street will motion to Tricia and ask to take her photo with them. It does not matter that they don't know us or that we can't communiate with them. |
| Tuk Tuk |
| Tuk Tuks are an alternative mode of transportation instead of taking a taxi. You take you own life in you hands when ride in them in the heavy traffic. First, the pollution you suck in from the cars is horrible and second, if you are ever in a accident in one of these, you may as well find a Buddha to start praying to. |

| Robin's new friends |
| Robin will schmooze with anyone. He walked into the temple and hung out with his brothers. He didn't have to shave his head so he fit in well. His new pals sat for a fine photo. All Thai men become monks for a period of time. Some for a long time, some for a short time and others make it a life-long commitment. The monks are kind and generous and feed all the stray animals, as well. |

| Shopping Anyone? |
| Welcome to the Night Markets in Bangkok. Whatever you want, it is available here. As soon as they see an American coming they double their prices. Tricia and I held our ground; we were polite but bargained well. Robin, was very tolerent of the shopping scene. I'm sure you know how much he loves shopping! |

| How fresh is fresh? |
| When I was told we can choose our own fresh fish, I didn't think it would be doing flip flops in front of me. Thanks, Fred, for the backup. |

| Elvis lives in Thailand |
| Not exactly Yul Brenner and not exactly Siam anymore...but hail to the king. |

| Are You Tired of Seeing New Years in Thaiiland? |
| Last image of the people in the streets. |

| Grand Palace garden |
| In this tropical climate, gardens can grow just about anything. This is one garden at the Grand Palace. (They are not as nice as Rich & Wendy's though!) |
| New Year Celebrations |
| For three days Thais will party in the streets while throwing water at passersby in celebration of the New Year. |

| The Grand Palace |
| The Grand Palace no longer houses the king and his court. They live down the road a piece from this tourist attraction It is, however, still used for government business. The king is at this palace only on holidays and for ceremonial events. |
| Temple of the Dawn |
| The temple is decorated in colorful Chinese pottery and ceramics. Once again, Robin is on one side of the camera and Trica and I are on the other. Do you ever wonder if Robin is really on this trip with us? |
| Prayer and Offerings |
| At the temples, the Thais offer fruit and other offerings to the Buddhas and shrine as they light incense and pray. |
| And you thought it was tough getting to Target? |
| As we traveled down the canal there were floating merchants. Of course, we stopped to shop. Because it's really all about food and shopping anyway, isn't it? |
| Please don't drink the water |
| Life on the Klong throughout Bangkok has basically remained the same for the past 200 years. The water is used for everyday uses as well as recreation. Anyone want to go for a swim? |
